To Restore BIOS Settings to Factory Default (VB7009 Motherboard)

The Battery is a CR2032 coin-type cell, which is available anywhere batteries are sold.

Before replacing the battery, turn off the CNC control, and shut down the OmniTurn with the disconnect
Located on the left side of the GT75 at the spindle drive cabinet.

• It is possible to replace the battery by taking the blue cover off the control and reaching in though the one of the portholesCMOS Battery Through Porthole on the lower right side of the control.
• If too difficult that way, remove the front panel and slide out the computer chassis.

To get into the BIOS menu, set the control off, then hold the Del key down and turn the control on. Don't release it until the main BIOS menu appears.

To change anything in the BIOS menu, use the arrow keys to highlight your selection, then press Enter to bring up a submenu where you can make your choice by highlighting it and then pressing Enter.

• In the main BIOS menu, highlight "Standard CMOS Features", then press Enter to open CMOS Features screen.
• Arrow down to Date and Time and set to current date and time.
• Press Esc to return to BIOS Main screen

• In the main BIOS menu, arrow over to the Advanced tab.

• In the Advanced BIOS menu, arrow down to select "Restore on AC/Power loss" then press Enter.
• From the resulting sub-menu, select Power off then press Enter.
• Press Esc to return to main menu.

• In the main BIOS menu, arrow over to the Boot tab.

• In the Boot Menu, select Boot Settings then press Enter.
• Arrow down to Bootup Numlock, and set it to off.
• Press Esc once to return to Boot menu.
• Arrow over to Select Hard drives then press Enter.
  • If your backup thumb drive is plugged in, you will see it listed, along with a Sandisk USB drive. The Sandisk should be the 1st drive.
  • If the backup thumb drive is in the top spot press - (minus) to make the drives switch places.
• Press F10 to save and exit, then press Enter. CNC will reboot with the factory default settings.
