TF-486 motherboard: Replace CMOS battery
The CMOS battery for the TF486 motherboard is embedded in the clock module.
The clock module is Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated DS12C887+. It can be purchased from DigiKey
The clock chip is located in the right-rear corner of the motherboard, as viewed from the front of the control (lower left corner of the photo). There's also a picture of the chip at the link.
When replacing it, be sure to note which end is which so you don't plug it in backwards.
Once the chip is replaced you'll need to restore the CMOS settings.
